TOKYU HOTELS
Shibuya, Tokyo
Welcoming Overseas Guests with the EXPLORE SHIBUYA PROJECT

Shibuya is a city or special ward within Tokyo, where modern and traditional culture coexist and continue to evolve simultaneously. It is home to both the cutting-edge, dynamic Shibuya Scramble, crossed by an average of 2.4 million per day and the historic Meiji Shrine, whose tranquil approach is lined with 100,000 trees donated from regions across Japan.

These attractions make Shibuya one of the world's leading tourist destinations. Towering above the heart of Shibuya is the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, welcoming travelers with its warmest Japanese hospitality or "omotenashi." With this spirit, the hotel is now offering overseas guests the opportunity to uniquely experience local, seasonal events via its new "EXPLORE SHIBUYA PROJECT." Currently on offer through this program is "Enjoy SHIBUYA SUMMER" Yukata & Nail plan, available only to staying guests until August 24, 2025 (Fri/Sat/Sun only). Featured are adult yukata as well as a cute lineup of jinbei for small children. This is enhanced by colorful Japanese-patterned nail décor, adding a touch of elegance to guests’ personal yukata look. Says the hotel "We also offer this in a luxurious ‘transform yourself’ suite room -- with a spectacular view from the 36th or 37th floor -- as a place for participating guests to dress and have their nails done."

Experience the true extent of "SHIBUYA LUXURY" in this "entertainment city" by taking commemorative photos in a glossy yukata with stand-out nails in the summer sun, while strolling around Shibuya in traditional style. (Details are here)

CERULEAN LOUNGE
Relax and Enjoy Traditional Japanese Culture
Additionally, on the lobby floor, the hotel has newly established the "Cerulean Lounge," a private lounge for guests staying in the "Executive" and "Cerulean" Floors. The goal is to create a new level of comfort and convenience, while offering a place to relax and enjoy Japanese traditional culture. The concept shared by the "Cerulean Floor" and "Cerulean Lounge" is "SHIBUYA LUXURY." This value proposition aims to provide guests with a sense of "spiritual richness," emphasizing luxury through high-quality spaces, incorporating Japanese traditions passed down for generations, rather than a luxury of extravagance.
