UNFORGETTABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCES

AWAIT YOUR CLIENTS IN TURKEY AND GREECE

Dear Colleagues,

Happy New Year!

As we begin 2023, or as some will say, Year of the Rabbit or Cat, it is wonderful to see so many people booking to travel this year. And it is even more exciting to learn that Turkey and/or Greece are on travelers' bucket lists.

With over 45 years in the business of creating memorable vacations to Turkey, Greece, Japan, and many other bucket list destinations, we use our experience to produce the kind of trips that make you, the travel advisor, look good. We have always relied on our travel partners and do not market to the consumer. We believe our relationship with you and our consistent high quality service are keys to our success for almost half a century.

Istanbul, is one of the world's most admired cities and its new airport immediately impresses visitors. Considered the largest in the world, Magister makes it easy for visitors to meet their guide by directing them to an appropriate exit. One hour later your clients are at their hotel.

There are many new hotels in this vibrant Turkish city. Along the Bosphorus, you will find Mandarin Oriental, JW Marriott, and Peninsula, while Movenpick Istanbul overlooks the Golden Horn, and The Westin Istanbul Nisantasi is ideally located for shopping at world renowned designer boutiques.

We recommend a minimum of three nights in Istanbul. But one can spend a week there and still have more to do and see. Walk the walls, take a cooking class, visit historic sights in the Old City, explore museums and art galleries, browse the shops on Istaklal Street, cruise the Bosphorus, and so much more.

ISTANBUL RESTAURANTS

Divan Brasserie Fuaye - Located in the Ataturk Cultural Center on Tasksim Square, the restaurant offers a delightful array of cuisine. Dine in the most iconic building in Istanbul and experience culture-art activities in addition to excellent food.

Lokanta 1741 - A 300 year old Hamam is attached to this lovely restaurant, making it truly unique. One can go to the Haman and then dine in the restaurant.

Pera Palace Hotel - The historic hotel has been popularized recently due to the Pera Palace Netflix series. One should at least stop in for cocktails. And perhaps visit the room where Ataturk stayed, now a museum.

Sarnic - The Turkish word for cistern is the name of this unique restaurant in an actual cistern from the 6th century in the Old City.

Clients often visit Istanbul for the first time while on a Mediterranean cruise. We offer shore excursions or pre and post tour sightseeing on a private basis. It is the best way to get the most out of a visit when clients have a personalized experience.

Outside of Istanbul there is a multitude of sought after destinations for your clients to behold. Let us know when and how long your clients have and we'll put together an ideal tour for them based on their interests and budget.

Temple of Poseidon, Sounio

GREECE is always a popular destination. As with Turkey, we offer shore excursions as well as pre and post cruise extensions in Athens. Greece can be done as a single destination or in combination with Turkey. With many islands to explore, the options are endless.

Athens is full of historic sights, culture, museums, and culinary delights to keep people of all interests engaged. For those wanting to see more of the country outside of the city, we offer some really great options:

The Gems of the Peloponnese are showcased on a full day tour taking your clients to the Corinthian Canal, wine tasting in Nemea, and to the seaside town of Nafplio.

A day off the beaten track to Northern Athens includes a visit to a beautiful winery with wine tasting of their internationally awarded wines, lunch with locals in traditional tavern, and a stop at the spectacular Marathon Dam.

Visit Sounio, the southeastern-most spot of Athens and the site of the ancient Temple of Poseidon. This tour journey travels through Piraeus and along the scenic Athens Riviera.

Magister believes in the art of customer service and we consider its excellence a priority. We closely monitor all aspects of your clients' trip to meet and exceed expectations.

We customize all vacations to the specific needs and requests of travelers. Not being tied to particular hotels allows us the flexibility to include facilities that suit their budget and style.

Our website includes sample itineraries for you and your client to begin your planning. Or you can contact us to help you right away.
